JOB SUMMARY
- The Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) RN provides safe, efficient, and patient-centered nursing care to individuals undergoing surgical and diagnostic procedures with planned same-day discharge or inpatient stay. The RN is responsible for pre-operative preparation, intraoperative support as assigned, and post-operative recovery care, ensuring optimal outcomes and a positive patient experience.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
- Education:
  - Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
- Certifications/Licenses:
  - Unencumbered Registered Nurse license in the State of Wyoming.
- Job Knowledge and Skills:
  - Strong attention to detail and critical thinking skills.
    
    Ability to remain calm and effective in high-pressure situation.
    
    Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
    
    Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and assist with patient positioning.
    
    Commitment to patient safety, quality care and professionalism.
