  • JOB SUMMARY

    • The Operating Room (OR) Nurse provides direct and indirect nursing care to surgical patients before, during, and after operative procedures. The OR Nurse ensures patient safety, maintains a sterile environment, assists the surgical team, and delivers high-quality, patient-centered care in accordance with professional nursing standards and institutional policies.

  • JOB QUALIFICATIONS
    • Education:
      • Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
    • Certifications/Licenses:
        • Active, unincumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Wyoming.
        • Basic Life Support (BLS), ACLS and PALS.
        • CNOR preferred.

    • Job Knowledge and Skills:
        • Strong attention to detail and critical thinking skills.
        • Ability to remain calm and effective in high-pressure situation.
        • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
        • Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and assist with patient positioning.
        • Commitment to patient safety, quality care and professionalism.
