Job Description
GENERAL OVERVIEW
Performs all required loan servicing functions for all loan types, focusing on Commercial Loans, as described below in duties and responsibilities.
Duties and Responsibilities
? Works directly with Lending staff and borrowers assisting in the Commercial Loan Annual Review data collection, core system changes, reporting & ongoing file maintenance.
? Responsible for tax monitoring on Commercial & Consumer real estate and reporting findings to lending management. In addition, coordination with third party vendors on monthly tax reporting.
? Assists in the monthly Commercial loan adjustable rate mortgage: letters, system updates, maturities, rewrites
? Follow up on both Homeowners & Flood Insurances for all loan types making certain that the credit union is adequately protected and properly insured. File all insurance policies.
? Protects the credit union’s interest in the recording of collateral for all loan types: DMV lien, UCC filings, Letters of Guarantee, Abundance of Caution mortgages, etc…
? Assists with Life & Disability debt cancellations; this includes the processing and distribution of proceeds. Completes GAP claims and file maintenance to reverse GAP & VSI fees.
? Organize and prioritize responsibilities as they relate to job functions.
? Acts as a backup for Commercial Loan Processing, as needed.
? Serves as back-up adding new commercial loans to the core system accurately and soon after closing.
? Orders and maintains the department inventory of supplies.
? Responsible for the inputting and updating of material changes to the department’s policy and procedures manuals.
? All other duties that may be assigned.
Requirements:? One to two years of similar or related experience in Loan Processing/Servicing.
? Strong organizational skills.
? Ability to work with members and staff tactfully and professionally, both in person and on the phone.
? Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality.
? Have general computer knowledge Excel and Word in order to create documents, letters, spreadsheets and templates.
? Interpersonal skills and ability to communicate clearly while handling multiple priorities.
