Job Description
The Field Deployment Technician works alongside the Lead Field Deployment Technician on customer installations and go-lives, supporting hardware pre-qualification, installation, validation with software, and final hardware sign-off before go-live. During active deployment periods, expect 50-75% travel, including multi-week site assignments, occasional weekends, and extended on-site shifts. Between deployments, the role supports training, documentation, process refinement, hardware prep, inventory, and deployment readiness. You will work hands-on with gaming table hardware from day one, learn the deployment standard, and build toward lead field capability over 12-18 months.
Requirements:Duties/Responsibilities:
- Execute hardware installation tasks under Lead direction, including cabling, racking, physical setup, and site setup
- Support hardware pre-qualification, validation with software, and final hardware sign-off before go-live
- Understand the product and software enough to identify when issues are likely hardware-related or software-related
- Document physical defects, non-standard site conditions, and supportability observations during validation
- Between deployments, support training, documentation, process refinement, hardware prep, inventory, and deployment readiness
Required Skills/Abilities:
Required:
- Product and software fluency sufficient to distinguish hardware issues from software issues
- Physically capable for field installation work: lifting, reaching, working in varied site conditions on a casino floor
- Valid passport and internationally mobile for the United States (US), Macau, and Philippines in Year 1
- Las Vegas-based or willing to relocate
Preferred:
- Prior casino or hospitality technology installation experience
- Any exposure to regulated hardware environments
- Basic networking knowledge: patching and Internet Protocol (IP) configuration
- Clear interest in developing toward lead deployment capability; we screen for this disposition, not just the experience
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Technical school, associate degree, trade certification, military technical training, or equivalent hands-on experience in electronics, AV, networking, low-voltage, IT hardware, or field service preferred
- 2-3 years hardware installation, audio/visual (AV), network, or electronics technician experience
- Experience working under lead direction in customer sites; casino, hospitality, or regulated technology environments preferred
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to sit or stand for extended periods while working at a desk or computer station.
- Occasional lifting or carrying of objects weighing up to 25 pounds, such as hardware, equipment, or office supplies, with or without assistance.
- Ability to perform tasks requiring fine motor skills, such as typing, using office equipment, or operating a computer.
- Ability to travel locally and/or internationally 10-30% of the time for customer service needs, or site visits, which may involve occasional or frequent lifting and walking.
- Ability to participate in in-person meetings and presentations, including standing or moving about a room.
- Must be able to work in an office environment and/or customer site location with varying noise levels and demands.
Job Type:
Full-time, exempt
Total Rewards:
$65,000 - $75,000 annually. Applicable pay within the posted range may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, geographical location, job function of the position, education, and experience of the selected candidate. Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as business results.
