As the Talent Specialist you play a critical role is supporting the workforce strategy of Capstone Hospice by leading full-cycle recruitment efforts and delivering an exceptional candidate hiring experience. This role is responsible for identifying, attracting, and hiring highly qualified talent for clinical, administrative, and leadership roles across the organization.
This role partners closely with leadership to understand staffing needs, develop effective recruiting strategies and ensures a positive candidate experience while maintaining compliance with healthcare and regulatory standards. This is a team collaborative position that requires you to be in the office located at the Capstone Hospice home office in Peachtree Corners. This position is expected to work Monday - Friday from 8:30am-5:30pm. This position will report to the Director of People Support.
Requirements:Candidates must meet the following requirements to be considered:
- Bachelor's degree preferably in human resources, business, healthcare administration or related field or equivalent working experience with PHR certification.
- 2-3 years of recruiting experience in healthcare or hospice.
- Knowledge of clinical hiring requirements and credentialing.
- Experience using an Applicant Tracking System (ATS), Paylocity preferred.
- Understanding of Medicare, CMS, and hospice regulations.
- Experience using Microsoft Products to include Outlook, Word, Excel & Teams

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE ROLE:
Talent Acquisition & Recruitment
- Manage full-cycle recruitment for hospice positions to include Registered Nurses, Certified Nursing Assistants, Social Workers, Chaplains and other administrative positions.
- Manage and maintain applications and processes within the ATS.
- Develop and implement recruiting strategies to attract-high quality hospice professionals.
- Source candidates through job boards, social media, referrals, job fairs, schools and community networks.
- Conduct candidate screening, interviews, and coordinate hiring manager interviews.
- Extending job offers and guiding candidates through pre-employment processes.
Orientation / Onboarding
- Pre-employment screenings.
- Assign and ensure completion of onboarding documents.
- Education during orientation in collaboration with Director of Staff Development.
- Collaborate with IT for equipment & email setup.
- Collaborate with People Support Generalist to ensure new hire documents meet state guidelines.
- Track licensures, credentials, background checks, and onboarding documentation.
Relationship Management
- Collaborate with Chief Clinical Officer to understand staffing and workforce needs.
- Serve as ambassador for the hospice organization and its mission.
- Maintain proactive pipelines for hard-to-fill clinical positions.
- Collaborate with HR, onboarding, and compliance teams.
Compliance & Documentation
- Ensure hiring practices comply with state, federal, and hospice specific regulations.
Employer Branding & Outreach
- Promote hospice career opportunities and organizational culture
- Represent the organization at job fairs and community events
- Support employee referral and recruitment marketing initiatives.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
This position requires close work with others, use of finger dexterity, adequate hearing and vision (with or without assisted devices or correction). May occasionally work longer than 8 hours/day.
Will be required to work in an office setting that includes exposure to heating/cooling system, exposure to overhead office lighting.
Daily use of computer to include keyboard, monitors and mouse and phone.
Lifting: no more than 25 pounds occasionally.
Sitting: 4-8 hour/day; at a desk.
Low Risk to Bloodborne Pathogens.
This is a full-time salaried exempt position paid bi-weekly, with the opportunity of a bonus plan.
