This role is a hands-on cybersecurity operations position focused on detecting, investigating, and responding to advanced threats across global customer environments. You will work within a high-performance virtual security operations center, actively contributing to incident handling, malware analysis, and threat remediation efforts. The position requires strong technical expertise and a proactive mindset to help protect organizations against sophisticated attackers in real time. You will collaborate with customers and internal security teams to analyze incidents across multiple operating systems and develop effective countermeasures. A key part of the role involves producing clear, high-quality technical reporting and contributing to continuous improvements in detection and response processes. This is an impactful opportunity for a security professional who thrives in fast-paced, mission-driven cybersecurity environments.
- Perform end-to-end incident detection, investigation, containment, and remediation across Windows, Mac, and Linux environments.
- Conduct malware analysis, including both static and dynamic techniques, to assess threats and attack behavior.
- Support and improve incident response processes, detection methodologies, and countermeasure execution.
- Analyze system, network, and forensic data to determine scope, impact, and root cause of security incidents.
- Produce detailed technical reports, findings, and recommendations for internal stakeholders and customer leadership.
- Collaborate with customers and internal teams to support incident response activities and enhance security posture.
- Contribute to knowledge sharing and thought leadership through documentation, insights, or public-facing security content where applicable.
- Experience in incident response, cybersecurity operations, or security analysis in enterprise environments.
- Strong understanding of incident handling methodologies, threat detection, and remediation strategies.
- Knowledge of systems administration, network protocols, and security architecture principles.
- Hands-on experience with forensic analysis, malware analysis, or security monitoring tools.
- Ability to analyze complex technical environments to identify compromise scope and attack vectors.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for technical reporting and stakeholder engagement.
- Ability to work independently in high-pressure, fast-paced security operations environments.
- Degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
