Position Overview

PCM is seeking an experienced Senior Contracts & Procurement Administrator to support the commercial, contracts and procurement function across a major project or portfolio of projects.

This role provides an opportunity to work closely with project leadership and the Commercial, Contracts & Procurement Manager to protect PCM's commercial position, administer subcontract and procurement activities, support variations and claims, and maintain the commercial governance systems that underpin successful project delivery.


You will play a key role in ensuring contractual obligations, notices, commercial records, procurement activities and subcontract administration processes are managed accurately, proactively and in accordance with project requirements.

About the role

As Senior Contracts & Procurement Administrator, you will be a key member of the commercial team, supporting commercial outcomes across procurement, contracts administration, variations, claims and subcontract management.

You will:

  • Support administration of head contract obligations, notices and contractual correspondence.
  • Manage subcontract administration activities throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Coordinate subcontract variations, claims and commercial queries.
  • Support procurement activities from tender through to award and execution.
  • Assist with variation pricing, entitlement assessments and claims preparation.
  • Maintain commercial registers, contractual records and audit-ready documentation.
  • Support subcontract payment assessments and final account processes.
  • Assist with commercial reporting, forecasting inputs and risk management activities.
  • Monitor contractual obligations, notice periods and entitlement requirements.
  • Build strong working relationships with project teams, subcontractors, suppliers and stakeholders.
  • Support the commercial team in protecting PCM's contractual rights and commercial position.

About you

You are a commercially minded contracts professional who enjoys working in fast-paced project environments and understands the importance of strong commercial governance, contractual compliance and proactive contract administration.

You will ideally have:

  • Experience in contracts administration, procurement or commercial project support within construction, infrastructure or energy projects.
  • Experience administering subcontractors, suppliers and procurement packages.
  • Exposure to variations, claims and commercial management processes.
  • Strong understanding of commercial documentation and record management.
  • Knowledge of Security of Payment requirements and contractual administration processes.
  • Strong Microsoft Excel and Microsoft 365 skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management capabilities.
  • High attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
  • A proactive mindset and desire to develop your commercial career within a growing EPC business.
