Job SummaryWe are seeking a reliable, organized, and service-oriented Enterprise IT Operations Specialist to support the day-to-day enterprise IT operations. This role serves as the primary hands-on technical resource responsible for the operational health, security, and support of our technology infrastructure. This role focuses on consistent execution of internal technology processes, including employee support, endpoint lifecycle management, onboarding and offboarding workflows, and SaaS administration within a Microsoft 365 environment. Operating within a compliance-focused framework, this individual ensures all activities adhere to established security controls, operational procedures, and documentation standards.
This position is primarily focused on operational execution, responsiveness, consistency, and strong follow-through across established workflows, priorities, and procedures. The position is 5 days in office, located at our headquarters in Houston, TX.
Key ResponsibilitiesEmployee IT Support & Coordination- Serve as the primary point of contact for daily technical support requests, troubleshooting endpoint, identity, access, and software issues.
- Coordinate with external IT vendors, managed service providers, and software vendors to assist with and to accelerate issue resolution.
- Help plan and coordinate the technology logistics for office expansions, infrastructure upgrades, implementation planning, office connectivity, and hardware equipment deployments.
- Maintain a high level of responsiveness and professionalism in supporting both local and off-site team members.
- Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of company laptops and hardware assets, from procurement and deployment to tracking and disposal.
- Maintain a comprehensive, detailed inventory of all IT-related equipment and coordinate hardware shipments or replacements.
- Support physical workspace technology and peripherals, including network switches, access points, printers, cameras, and connectivity hardware.
- Assist in the administration of endpoint management platforms, such as utilizing Microsoft Intune for zero-touch device deployment.
- Manage the end-to-end technical workflows for employee onboarding and offboarding.
- Configure user accounts, group permissions, multi-factor authentication, and role-based system access.
- Support zero-touch device deployment utilizing Microsoft Intune and Autopilot to streamline new hire setups.
- Ensure strict access removal and hardware recovery processes are completed accurately and timely during offboarding.
- Manage user accounts, groups, licensing, multi-factor authentication, and access requests within Entra ID and Microsoft 365.
- Assist with the day-to-day administration of core SaaS platforms, ensuring clean user provisioning and regular access reviews.
- Maintain thorough, updated documentation for systems, internal IT workflows, and standard operational procedures.
- Assist with basic administrative maintenance of corporate web portals and internal software applications.
- Execute operational IT controls and security procedures to maintain audit readiness within SOC-compliant environments.
- Assist with compliance data gathering and evidence collection for internal or external security audits.
- Maintain and update the corporate website by auditing content for accuracy, integrating plugins, performance optimization, and publishing active job openings.
- Monitor and support security baselines, including firewalls, endpoint protection, and patching schedules.
- Identify opportunities to improve daily operational efficiency and user experience across internal tools.
- Minimum of 5 to 7 years of experience in IT support, IT operations, or systems administration.
- Strong hands-on experience working within the Microsoft 365 ecosystem, including Entra ID and basic Microsoft Intune concepts.
- Solid understanding of networking fundamentals, including wireless technologies, switching, IP configuration, and connectivity troubleshooting.
- Proven experience supporting device lifecycles, user onboarding/offboarding workflows, and remote employee setups.
- Demonstrated experience working within regulated, compliance-focused, or audit-sensitive corporate environments.
- Ability to support and manage across both Windows and MacOS environments.
- Capacity to independently manage and prioritize operational tasks and support executive users, mentor staff, and manage high priority technical issues.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks independently in a fast-paced environment.
- This position requires occasional work outside standard business hours, including weekends and holidays, to meet critical deployment deadlines or respond to emergency operational needs.
- Experience with advanced Intune configurations, device compliance tracking, and Autopilot deployment profiles.
- Prior experience supporting IT operations within a global or manufacturing environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Professional IT certifications, such as Microsoft role-based certifications or CompTIA Network+/Security+.
- Language proficiency in Mandarin or German is a plus.
