The Housekeeping Attendant role at Spirit Mountain is central to maintaining the pristine and welcoming atmosphere of the facility and its surroundings. This position is tailored for individuals who exhibit a keen attention to detail, independence in work habits, and a steadfast commitment to providing exceptional customer service. As a Housekeeping Attendant, you will play a pivotal role in upholding the cleanliness standards and overall aesthetic appeal of Spirit Mountain, directly impacting the guest experience.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES
- Conduct comprehensive cleaning tasks throughout the facility and grounds, including garbage and light snow removal, floor cleaning (vacuuming, sweeping, mopping), dusting, restroom upkeep, wall wiping, and window cleaning.
- Light grounds keeping such as shoveling entryways and/or icing the walkways (no technical equipment).
- Work efficiently with minimal supervision, ensuring high-quality outcomes.
- Deliver superior customer service and wayfinding, fostering positive guest interactions and addressing concerns or questions effectively.
- Utilize critical thinking to identify and resolve issues encountered in daily operations.
- Collect all lost and found items and ensure they are reported to Guest Services.
- Adhere to and promote Spirit Mountain’s Core Values through professional conduct.
- Ensure regular and reliable attendance.
- Interact with guests to ensure their satisfaction and address any feedback.
- Monitor the facility for maintenance and repair requirements, taking initiative to report or resolve issues.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Available to work weekends, overnights, and holidays as required.
- Proficiency in English with strong reading, writing, and communication skills.
- Capable of making independent decisions based on standard policies and procedures.
- Ability to handle tasks effectively amidst frequent interruptions and under tight deadlines.
- Proven reliability and adaptability in various work situations.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Possess adequate sight and hearing senses or use prosthetic devices for effective performance.
- Capable of standing, walking, bending, twisting, and turning for extended periods.
- Regularly lift and move objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to tolerate cold weather.
- Be able to work around chemicals using proper PPE.
