Description:

Vision Quest is searching for a qualified coordinator to ensure our compliance standards are met and provide appropriate travel coordination + support to independent contractors for the US Department of State GATA (Global Anti-Terrorism Assistance) Program. The Compliance & Travel Coordinator will ensure compliance standards are completed by reviewing documentation on file, ensuring documents are up to date, and conducting background checks. Additionally, the Compliance & Travel Coordinator will serve as a liaison between DOS officials, travel agents, and independent contractors to coordinate and distribute flight itineraries that meet contract & Fly America Act requirements.

Duties / Responsibilities:

  • Review independent contractor forms to ensure compliance standards are met
  • Monitor and track forms on file to ensure up to date; contact appropriate persons as needed when forms expire
  • Conduct background checks
  • Compile forms and background check results for submission + approval to DOS
  • Coordinate with independent contractors to confirm home of record airport information and proposed flight itineraries meet traveler & FAA standards
  • Coordinate with travel agents and DOS officials to ensure airfare meet FAA requirements and budget
  • Distribute flight itineraries to appropriate personnel and update database programs
  • Provide after hour support as needed to impacted travelers
Requirements:

Requirements:

  • Excellent detail orientation
  • Strong organizational skills, including the ability to manage tasks within various stages of completion
  • Proficient with basic office management software
  • Able to prioritize tasks according to urgency
  • Strong interpersonal skills; in all areas of in-person, over the phone, and in writing
  • Self-directed and able to manage completing tasks independently

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in relevant field such as Business Administration, Office Management, Communications, Human Resources, or Accounting
  • Administrative background
  • Excellent writing skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Comfortable handling confidential information

  • None

Additional Requirements:

  • Available to provide after hour support to travelers if / as needed via phone and / or email
