Position purpose
The purpose of this position is to assist the endoscopy team during endoscopy procedures. The technician is responsible for the provision of care to meet identified patient outcomes and to achieve the goals of the facility.
Responsibilities/Duties/Functions/Tasks:
Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

Transport patients via the use of a wheelchair to the patient pick-up area.

Retrieves patient family members from the waiting area and escorts them to patient recovery room after completion of procedures.

Maintains soiled linen utility room for cleanliness. This includes stretcher cleaning and cleaning of the PACU room.

Stocks procedure rooms with the necessary linens to be used for the next day

Sanitize patient beds by cleaning and changing linens after each patient use.

Sanitize patient wheelchairs on a regular basis

Responsible for ensuring that hand sanitizing stations are stocked with the appropriate supplies.

Incumbent performs other job-related tasks as assigned and required; any duties/tasks included in the employee's performance evaluation are essential to that employee's position within the job classification

Qualifications
Education: High school diploma or GED certificate required.
Experience: One year of work experience is preferred.
Performance Requirements:

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Proficient technical (computer) skills.

Ability to multi-task and prioritize.

Self-motivated with initiative.

Strong sense of ethics.
