About This Position
Heritage Wood Mills is seeking a detail-oriented Cabinet Assembler Technician to join our growing manufacturing team. This role is responsible for assembling custom cabinetry to precise specifications and ensuring every product meets our quality standards before leaving the shop. The ideal candidate takes pride in craftsmanship, works efficiently, and has a strong eye for detail and accuracy.
Key Responsibilities
Cabinet Assembly
• Assemble cabinet boxes, drawers, doors, and components according to shop drawings and specifications
• Install hardware, hinges, slides, and specialty components
• Verify measurements, squareness, and alignment during assembly
• Work with CNC-cut parts and labeled components for efficient production
• Maintain organized workstations and proper material handling
Production Support
• Assist with packaging, labeling, and staging completed jobs
• Follow production schedules and meet daily output goals
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Support continuous improvement efforts for efficiency and quality
Qualifications
• Experience in cabinet making, woodworking, furniture assembly, or related field preferred
• Ability to read shop drawings, cut lists, and work orders (or willingness to learn)
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Basic knowledge of hand tools, power tools, and measuring equipment
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
• Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
Preferred Skills (Not Required)
• Experience with custom cabinetry or millwork
• Understanding of CNC-produced cabinet systems
• Knowledge of quality control processes or production workflows
• Finish or hardware installation experience
