Position Summary:
The University of New Mexico HealthSciences Center, Department of Internal Medicine, seeks exceptional facultymembers to join a dedicated group of medical educators in the Division ofHospital Medicine. We are based at University of New Mexico Hospital, a 618-bedtertiary care academic medical center.

This Hospitalist position is openrank and open track, with salary and rank commensurate with experience andeducation. This is a primary daytime Academic Hospitalist position, with nightcoverage limited to less than 20% of shifts; night shifts receive adifferential.

• Must be eligible to work in the US.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Served at leasttwo years in a residency that provides education to Medical Students duringtheir core clerkship in internal medicine OR served on the faculty of a MedicalSchool
• Experience/interest in Hospital Medicine
• Experience/interest in medical education and/orquality improvement activities
• Ademonstrated commitment to cultivate an understanding of the rich and variedcultures of New Mexico and to the success of the university's mission to servelocal and global communities
