Century Mile Racetrack and Casino is looking for a Facility Worker 1 to join our team.

As a Facility Worker, you will:

Provide day-to-day Facilities operations: Installation, troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of Century Mile building and property. Keeping the facility in a clean and orderly condition by removing rubbish, snow, street sweeping, lawn care, rug care, power washing, equipment cleaning, walls, and glass cleaning.

Be a problem solver. Tackle situations using your analytical ability and critical thinking skills. Be empowered to carry out responsibilities with limited supervision using your strong organizational and time management skills.

Contribute to authentic team connections. Develop, maintain and enhance positive relations with all customers and team members.

Other duties as assigned.

What we need from you:

• Ability to perform manual tasks involving heavy lifting and dexterity
• Have one (1) or more years of recent and related maintenance or labour experience.
• High School Diploma. A combination of education and experience may be considered.
• Ability to demonstrate effective and diplomatic oral and written communication skills using English.
• Demonstrated experience performing within specific deadlines or under pressure.
• Organizational and time management skills.

• Must be able to pass a criminal record check.
