Position Description:

Were seeking an Activity Specialist to plan and lead engaging activities that enrich the lives of individuals we serve. In this role, youll design and facilitate programs that support physical, mental, and emotional wellnessall while ensuring a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment.
What Youll Do Plan and implement group and individual activities tailored to participants needs. Organize special events and select activities that fit the occasion and population served. Facilitate engaging, therapeutic experiences that promote health and well-being. Collaborate with other departments to ensure activities align with individual care goals. Document activities and progress in medical records accurately and on time. Demonstrate cultural and age-appropriate sensitivity in all interactions. Education Required: High school diploma or equivalent. Preferred: Bachelors degree in psychology, social work, counseling, behavioral sciences, or related field. Experience Required: For Title 9-CCR contracts, 2 years of experience in a mental health program serving individuals with severe and persistent mental illness. A bachelors degree in a human services field may substitute for experience. Preferred: Experience working in a mental health setting. Licenses/Certifications Preferred: Valid drivers license (some positions may require driving company vehicles).
