Job Overview:
The Restaurant Administrator (Finance-Focused) supports the financial and administrative operations of the restaurant, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and strong internal controls. This role partners closely with the Director of Finance and operational leadership to manage inventory, oversee financial documentation, and maintain the integrity of reporting processes in a high-volume, luxury hospitality environment.

What You’ll Be Doing:
Administrative & Financial Support
- Provide administrative support to the Director of Finance and senior leadership team
- Maintain organized and accurate financial records, reports, and documentation
- Assist in preparing daily, weekly, and monthly financial and operational reports
- Support data entry and reconciliation across financial systems
Inventory Control & Cost Management
- Oversee receiving, counting, and inspection of all goods delivered, ensuring accuracy against purchase orders and quality standards
- Partner with department heads to support weekly stock takes and investigate inventory variances
- Maintain accurate inventory records and support cost control initiatives across departments
Accounts Payable & Invoice Processing
- Manage the timely processing of invoices and credit notes, ensuring proper coding and approvals
- Coordinate stock returns with suppliers and track corresponding credits
- Liaise with vendors and internal teams to resolve discrepancies in billing or deliveries
Financial Controls & Compliance
- Ensure adherence to company financial policies, internal controls, and audit standards
- Maintain proper documentation for all financial transactions and inventory movements
- Support internal and external audits, providing required documentation and reports
- Monitor compliance with local regulations and company standards
What We’re Looking For
- 1-2 years of experience in a finance, accounting, or administrative role within hospitality preferred
- Strong understanding of inventory control, accounts payable, and reconciliation processes
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial systems (experience with POS/inventory systems is a plus)
- High level of accuracy, organization, and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
