In this role, you will oversee compliance activities for verification programs supporting the safety, quality, and reliability of dietary supplement products. You will manage certification and accreditation processes, maintain quality documentation, support audits, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. Working with internal teams, external auditors, and program participants, you will help ensure adherence to global standards and regulatory requirements. - Manage certification and accreditation activities for verification programs, ensuring alignment with applicable standards, requirements, and organizational objectives.
- Ensure compliance with relevant quality and verification frameworks, including ISO standards and industry-specific requirements.
- Support internal and external audits by preparing documentation, tracking findings, monitoring corrective actions, and maintaining certification readiness.
- Create, revise, manage, and archive program documentation, including standard operating procedures (SOPs), forms, manuals, and compliance records.
- Review verification program documentation from participants, including quality control records, manufacturing documentation, audit reports, and change requests.
- Support quality management system activities and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance program effectiveness and operational consistency.
- Identify compliance risks, issues, and opportunities for improvement while applying sound judgment to determine appropriate escalation paths.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners to maintain high standards of quality, transparency, and regulatory compliance.
- Contribute to additional compliance and verification initiatives as needed to support broader program goals.
- Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 10 years of experience in quality assurance, regulatory compliance, or related roles within the dietary supplement, nutraceutical, food, or healthcare industries.
- Strong understanding of quality management systems, regulatory requirements, certification processes, and audit practices.
- Experience with ISO standards, particularly ISO 9001, ISO 17065, ISO 17020, and/or ISO 17025.
- Experience supporting internal and external audits, compliance reviews, and quality continuous improvement initiatives.
- Knowledge of dietary supplement regulations and industry standards, including 21 CFR 111, 21 CFR 117, and GRMA requirements, is preferred.
- Advanced degree or professional certifications such as ASQ-CQA, RAC, PCQI, or similar credentials are preferred.
- Strong organizational, project management, documentation, and time management skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Ability to proactively identify challenges, manage risks, and develop practical solutions in a highly regulated environment.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build credibility and collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Teams, and Adobe Acrobat.
- Ability to work independently and manage priorities effectively in an individual contributor role.
- Competitive base salary ranging from $100,042 to $142,560 annually, depending on skills, experience, qualifications, and other job-related factors.
