Salesforce Lead Developer

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Salesforce Lead Developer based in United States.

This role offers the opportunity to lead Salesforce development initiatives within a technology-driven environment focused on digital transformation and customer experience.
The Salesforce Lead Developer will guide a team of developers while designing scalable solutions that improve sales operations and business performance.
You will own the full development lifecycle, from requirements gathering and architecture to deployment and continuous improvement.
Working closely with business stakeholders, you will translate strategic objectives into effective Salesforce solutions.
The position combines technical leadership, hands-on development, and process optimization responsibilities.
You will play a key role in enhancing CRM capabilities, improving productivity, and delivering impactful solutions for enterprise clients.

Accountabilities:

The Salesforce Lead Developer will be responsible for leading technical delivery, mentoring developers, and ensuring Salesforce solutions align with business objectives. This role requires strong ownership of development processes, solution architecture, and stakeholder collaboration.

  • Lead and mentor a team of Salesforce developers, providing technical direction, code guidance, and support to ensure high-quality deliverables.
  • Manage the complete Salesforce Sales Cloud development lifecycle, including requirement analysis, solution design, development, testing, deployment, and release management.
  • Design, configure, and implement scalable Sales Cloud solutions covering Opportunity Management, Sales Automation, Territory Planning, and Forecast Management.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements, define technical specifications, and align Salesforce capabilities with sales strategies.
  • Conduct code reviews, enforce Salesforce development best practices, and ensure compliance with security standards and platform guidelines.
  • Manage project priorities, coordinate development activities, track timelines, and resolve technical challenges proactively.
  • Optimize Salesforce processes and configurations to improve sales productivity, reporting accuracy, and operational efficiency.
  • Evaluate Salesforce platform updates and recommend enhancements, integrations, and new capabilities to maximize business value.
Requirements:

The ideal candidate combines strong Salesforce technical expertise with leadership experience and the ability to collaborate effectively across technical and business teams.

  • 4+ years of Salesforce experience, including direct leadership of Salesforce Sales Cloud development teams.
  • Strong expertise in Salesforce Sales Cloud configuration, customization, and solution development.
  • Hands-on experience with Opportunity Management, Sales Automation, Territory Planning, and Forecast Management.
  • Advanced knowledge of Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components, workflows, process automation, and validation rules.
  • Experience with Salesforce data modeling, integrations, and development tools.
  • Proficiency with version control systems such as Git for Salesforce projects.
  • Solid understanding of Salesforce security models, roles, permissions, and access controls.
  • Experience working with Agile or Scrum methodologies.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce CPQ, Einstein Analytics, reporting tools, or third-party integration platforms such as MuleSoft or Dell Boomi is a plus.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline is preferred.
  • Salesforce certifications such as Platform Developer I or higher and Sales Cloud Consultant are highly valued.
  • Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
