Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Assist Installation — Help install pipes, fixtures, valves, and drainage systems in residential, commercial, or industrial settings.
- Perform Basic Repairs — Replace leaky faucets, mend burst pipes, unclog drains, and repair fixtures under supervision.
- Read Blueprints — Learn to interpret diagrams and specifications to understand system layouts.
- Troubleshoot IssuesTroubleshoot Issues
- Use Tools & Equipment — Learn proper use of wrenches, cutters, soldering tools, and diagnostic equipment.
- Maintain Work Areas — Clean job sites, organize tools, and ensure safe working conditions.
- Follow Codes & Safety Standards — Ensure all work complies with federal, state, and local plumbing regulations.
- Customer Interaction — Answer basic client questions and relay information to supervising plumbers.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Vocational Training (advantageous but not required).
- Mechanical Aptitude and basic math skills.
- Willingness to Learn and follow instructions.
- Manual Dexterity and ability to handle tools safely.
- Communication Skills
