As a Room Attendant, you play a key role in shaping the guest experience—creating a space that feels welcoming, comfortable, and impeccably cared for. Whether you’re refreshing linens, preparing amenities, maintaining room functionality, or responding to guest requests with genuine hospitality, you help create an environment where guests can relax fully and enjoy their stay. Your ability to anticipate needs, uphold cleanliness excellence, and deliver seamless service ensures every guest feels valued the moment they open the door to their room.

Key Responsibilities

  • Guest Room Care — Making beds, changing linens, vacuuming, and completing all cleaning tasks in alignment with established policies and procedures.
  • Amenity Refresh — Providing rooms with fresh towels, toiletries, and replenishing guest essentials to ensure a seamless stay.
  • Inventory Support — Restocking supplies and maintaining par levels as required.
  • Guest Assistance — Responding to guest questions with professionalism, warmth, and a service‑oriented approach.
  • Room Functionality Checks — Ensuring TVs, radios, lighting, and heating/cooling systems are in proper working order.
  • Surface Care — Dusting and polishing furniture to maintain a polished, welcoming environment.
  • Deep Cleaning — Scrubbing floors, walls, and windows as required to uphold cleanliness standards.
  • Waste Management — Emptying and cleaning waste bins and ashtrays.
  • Linen & Waste Removal — Transporting used linens and garbage to designated bins.
  • Carpet Care — Shampooing carpets as directed.
  • Issue Reporting — Reporting damages or maintenance concerns to the Team Leader or Manager promptly.
  • Operational Communication — Liaising effectively with all operational departments to support smooth daily operations.
  • Regulatory Compliance — Ensuring adherence to licensing laws, health and safety standards, and all statutory regulations.
  • Additional Duties — Performing other duties as assigned or directed.
  • Flexible Availability — Ability to work up to 40 hours per week across early mornings,

Education & Qualifications

  • Flexible Availability — Ability to work up to 40 hours per week across early mornings including weekends and holidays
  • Physical Capability — Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Experience — Previous housekeeping experience considered an asset.
  • Motivation & Energy — Energetic, highly motivated, and committed to delivering exceptional service.
  • Organization & Multitasking — Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Service Excellence — Ability to exceed guest expectations through timely, effective, and service‑oriented communication.
  • Ability to clear a criminal record check

Work Environment Considerations

Standing for extended periods and supporting the operation during days, weekends, and holidays, as part of delivering exceptional guest experiences.
