Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Use of various machines, industrial printer, tempering oven
• Observe all safety and security procedures; must be able/willing to wear company-issued cut resistant safety shirt, cut resistant apron/chaps, gloves, steel toed shoes, safety glasses, and hearing protection
• Inspection of parts - need strong attention to detail
• Documentation of production and quality using logs
• Carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form; ability to problem solve issues
• Install and adjust tools and attachments for daily machine set up and operation; verify settings by measuring positions
• Learn and become proficient in each work center as assigned by the Production Manager to assist in multiple areas

Requirements

• Previous experience working with glass greatly preferred
• Ability to operate forklift/other heavy machinery
• Basic reading, writing, and math skills as well as the ability to read blueprints, drawings, and work instructions
• Above average computer skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to communicate effectively
• Ability to read/use various measuring equipment
• Reliability and proven attendance at past jobs
• Must be able to lift up to 50lbs unassisted
