Job Description
Reporting to the Corporate Planning Manager, the Production Planner is responsible for developing and maintaining production schedules to ensure products are manufactured efficiently, on time, and within quality standards. This role coordinates with production, purchasing, inventory, engineering, quality, and logistics teams to optimize resources, minimize downtime, and meet customer delivery requirements.

- Develop forecasted production plans by assessing customer demand, manufacturing capacity, and resource availability.
- Monitor production progress and adjust schedules to address delays, machine downtime, or material shortages
- Develop contingency plans to minimize disruptions caused by supply chain or production issues.
- Maintain long-term forecasting tools to review capacity versus demand trends.
- Coordinate with procurement to ensure raw materials and components are available for production
- Balance production capacity with customer demand to maximize efficiency and meet delivery commitments.
- Assist in resolving production and raw material supply conflicts.
- Develop and maintain demand planning tools to provide the organization with a clear forecast of future demand and support production and inventory planning
- As part of the AROW Global team, you will need to understand the AROW Business System policy and objectives and how you affect conformance to them.
- Minimum of an associate degree or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of five years of previous production planning or scheduling experience.
- Experience using an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system; knowledge of IFS is preferred.
- Highly proficient working in Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to interpret production data and forecasts
- Self-motivated and looks for opportunities for improvement.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
