GENERAL LABORER in Antigo, Wisconsin at Rely Innovations

Tends presses, annealers, assembly machines and various other types of automatic-fed or manually-fed equipment. Performs a variety of repetitive operations including packing, feeding and handling piece parts in manufacturing operations. Must start and stop equipment, clear jams and visually check work before and after machine cycles. Performs all related duties under this classification for the satisfactory completion of the job being worked on.

1. Perform continuous, repetitive work involving a few simple elements.

2. Generally, picks up piece part and positions in machine of feed chute, may or may not actuate machine.

3. Visually checks piece part for the completion of previous operation of suitability of raw material.

4. Informs supervisor and/or set-up men when piece parts do not conform to specifications.

5. May make check of piece parts on simple gauges.

6. Clean chips from machine where necessary.

7. Regular and reliable attendance.

8. Maintain quality standards.

MINIMUM LEVEL OF EDUCATION/TRAINING REQUIRED

H. S. Diploma or GED/HSED equivalency preferred but not required.

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

Manufacturing experience is a plus but not required.

CANDIDATES MUST POSSESS

The ability to stand 2/3 or more of the day

The ability to lift up to 40 lbs.

The ability to read and interpret quality standards

The ability to communicate effectively

The ability to work in a fast paced environment

Lifting pans or baskets of parts from ground to waist level, climbing ladders, loading and unloading parts in baskets.

Close Vision, Color Vision and ability to adjust focus are required.
