NURSING SUMMARY/ PURPOSE OF POSITION
The primary purposes of the Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) are to provide direct patient care, patient and family teaching, and work cooperatively within the interdisciplinary health care team in maintaining standards of nursing care under the direction of the Registered Nurse (RN) and within the framework of the Ohio Nurse Practice Act.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- Current, active licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse through the Ohio Board of Nursing.
- Maintain current, active BLS certification through the American Heart Association.
- IV Certification required.
- BLS within 6 months of hire
- CIDE within 3 months of hire
