Summary:
Complete all First Article and IMS creation activities for new and updated part numbers identified by the Contract Review Process, Perform the daily duties of Technical Compliance Administrator and obtain internal auditor certification and perform internal audits per documented schedule. Perform backup duties for the following job functions: Document Control, Stamp Control, Training Coordinator, Quality Planner.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Utilize the Discus Program to create First Article and IMS shells as part of the Contract Review Process, including but not limited to, the flex, metal, rigid top line assemblies and sub-components.
- Duties to be performed as Technical Compliance Administrator include but not limited to: Part Identification/Classification, Export Classification, License Applications, Legislation adherence, and to Determine Duty/Tarif requirements.
- Perform internal audits utilizing documented check list per the identified schedule
- As backup for Quality Planning - Review all customer purchase orders/contracts, engineering change order reviews and prepare quality plans to meet customer quality clause and requirements set forth in each engineering data package as required.
- As backup for Document Control Manage Customer, Industry and internally controlled documentation revision levels within QMS
- As a backup for the Stamp Control Champion, release, rescind and maintain the certified employee ink stamp registrar.
- Consistently, regularly, and dependably at work and on time.
Education and/or Experience
Two year college or university program certificate; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Prior experience in a quality assurance role and/or manufacturing setting preferred.
