Job Description
We are looking for a highly organized and customer-focused Project Coordinator to join our team. This is a full-time, in-office position based at our office location. The role plays a key part in managing projects from start to finish, helping ensure smooth communication, accurate scheduling, and an exceptional customer experience throughout the fabrication and installation process.
The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys problem-solving, and can confidently manage multiple projects while collaborating across departments.
What You’ll Do- Serve as the primary point of contact for customers throughout the project lifecycle
- Provide project updates, answer questions, and resolve issues in a professional and timely manner
- Create and manage project schedules, timelines, estimates, and milestones
- Coordinate projects from order placement through final installation
- Collaborate with sales, design, production, vendors, and installers to ensure seamless project execution
- Manage purchasing and coordinate material deliveries with vendors and subcontractors
- Conduct customer material viewings and assist clients with stone selections
- Maintain accurate project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and progress updates
- Process and manage project invoicing accurately and on time
- Utilize project management software to track project status and communicate updates
- Troubleshoot scheduling or project challenges while maintaining a high level of customer service
- Support long-term customer relationships and contribute to repeat business
- Assist with additional tasks and projects as needed to support company goals
- High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in project coordination, project management, or customer service
- Construction, remodeling, or stone countertop industry experience preferred
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Excellent problem-solving and time management skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities
- Proficiency with computers and project management software (Stone App or similar platforms preferred)
- Basic ability to read a tape measure in inches and feet
- Primarily office-based with occasional visits to warehouse or job site locations
- Prolonged periods sitting and working at a computer
- Standard business hours Monday through Friday, with occasional overtime during busy periods or special projects
