Requirements:2nd Shift: 2pm-10:30p
SUMMARY
Responsible for assembling safety interlocked modules and all sub-assemblies, while under the general supervision of the Production Supervisor, leads or senior assemblers while gaining experience in reading drawings, installing components, and completing assembly tasks safely and accurately.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
· Assemble electrical or electronic systems, components, subassemblies, and wiring using basic hand tools.
· Assist in reading and interpreting schematic drawings, diagrams, blueprints, and work orders to determine basic assembly steps.
· Position, align, and adjust parts and assemblies to ensure proper fit prior to wiring or fastening.
· Drill or tap holes in specified locations to mount components or provide openings for wiring.
· Use basic measuring tools (torque wrenches, torque screw drivers) to verify part dimensions or fit.
· Report missing parts, defects, or assembly issues to leads or supervisors promptly.
· Participate in peer-to-peer build reviews to ensure quality and accuracy.
· Support more complex assemblies under guidance and assist other departments as
needed to meet production goals.
RESPONSIBILITIES
· Develop advanced wiring and troubleshooting skills
· Perform other duties/tasks as assigned/cross train Abide by all rules and regulations as set forth in your employee handbook.
· Always follow all ESL safety procedures and standard operating practices.
· Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workstation following 5S principles.
· Communicate with leads, supervisors, or engineers to clarify instructions or report issues.
· Practice ESL’s core values in daily work and interactions.
· Cross-train in related tasks and perform other duties as assigned.
· Follow all rules, policies, and guidelines outlined in the employee handbook.

· Minimum of six months to 1 year manufacturing or related experience
· High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
· Effective communication skills
· Ability to multi-task
· Self-motivated
· Detail-oriented
· Understand hardware, parts and some tool knowledge
