Sales Development Representative (Inside Sales)

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Sales Development Representative (Inside Sales) based in Canada.

As a Sales Development Representative, you’ll be a key point of contact for travelers exploring group-trip opportunities around the world. You’ll engage with high-intent prospects, understand their travel goals, and help them find experiences that match their needs and expectations. Working across WhatsApp, email, phone, chat, and social media, you’ll guide prospects from initial interest through booking. Your conversations will directly contribute to revenue growth while helping travelers make confident decisions. You’ll combine structured sales processes with a consultative, personable approach and have the autonomy to test ideas and improve the customer journey. This is a fully remote, frontline sales role in a fast-moving and globally oriented environment.

Accountabilities:
  • Engage promptly and thoughtfully with travelers who have expressed interest in group trips.
  • Initiate and manage meaningful conversations through email, phone, WhatsApp, chat, social media, and other digital channels.
  • Understand each prospect’s travel goals, preferences, budget, expectations, and plans.
  • Qualify leads and identify the group-trip experiences that best match each traveler.
  • Guide prospects throughout their decision-making process and address questions or concerns related to pricing, destinations, logistics, and the group experience.
  • Convert qualified opportunities into booked travelers and consistently follow up to prevent promising leads from being lost.
  • Maintain accurate traveler information, interactions, and sales activity in HubSpot or other CRM systems.
  • Monitor customer questions, objections, interests, and needs to identify recurring themes and opportunities for improvement.
  • Share customer insights with the wider team to help improve sales conversations, marketing initiatives, and the overall product experience.
  • Contribute to sales targets by managing the funnel effectively and balancing customer experience with conversion objectives.

Requirements:

  • 1–3 years of experience in Sales, Inside Sales, Customer Success, or a related field.
  • Advanced English proficiency with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a natural ability to build genuine connections with customers.
  • Comfortable communicating with customers by phone, WhatsApp, email, chat, and other digital channels.
  • Strong listening skills and the ability to identify underlying customer needs.
  • Highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple conversations, prospects, and follow-ups simultaneously.
  • Comfortable working with CRM systems; HubSpot experience is a plus.
  • Results-oriented mindset with genuine motivation to turn qualified conversations into conversions.
  • Familiarity with sales funnels, conversion metrics, and other sales performance indicators.
  • Interest in travel, experiences, and community-driven products.
  • Adaptability and enthusiasm for working in a fast-moving environment where processes and priorities can evolve.
  • Experience in Inside Sales, consultative selling, B2C sales, digital products, or international customer environments is a plus.
  • Previous experience selling through WhatsApp, phone, or other digital channels is advantageous.
  • Background in travel, tourism, hospitality, or experience-based businesses is a plus.

Benefits:

  • Fully remote work arrangement.
  • Opportunity to work with customers from around the world.
  • Frontline sales role with a direct connection between customer conversations and business growth.
  • Opportunity to develop skills in consultative selling, lead qualification, CRM management, and conversion optimization.
  • Collaborative and fast-moving international work environment.
  • Structured sales processes, playbooks, and tools combined with autonomy to experiment and contribute ideas.
  • Opportunity to work at the intersection of sales, travel, experiences, and community.
