Job Description
This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Senior Marketing Manager AIO Strategist in Canada.
This is a pioneering marketing role focused on how a global cybersecurity leader is discovered, cited, and represented across emerging AI-powered search and answer engines. You will define and operationalize a new AI Optimization (AIO) function, shaping how the organization appears in tools like LLM-based assistants and generative search platforms. The role blends strategic marketing leadership with deep technical expertise in AI systems, search architecture, and content engineering. You will build measurement frameworks, influence cross-functional teams, and develop programs that ensure visibility in an evolving AI-first discovery landscape. Acting as the first dedicated hire in this space, you will have significant autonomy to design strategy, tools, and operating models from the ground up. This is a high-impact, highly visible role at the intersection of AI, SEO evolution, and modern B2B marketing transformation.
- Define and lead the AI Optimization (AIO) strategy, including operating model, roadmap, and integration with SEO, content, PR, and product marketing.
- Build and manage systems to measure AI visibility and citation performance across platforms such as ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, Copilot, and similar engines.
- Develop content engineering frameworks to ensure web assets are structured, retrievable, and optimized for LLM citation and extraction.
- Design and execute a cross-channel citation strategy in partnership with PR, analyst relations, social media, and customer marketing teams.
- Monitor competitive AI visibility and identify gaps, risks, and opportunities across generative search ecosystems.
- Establish dashboards, KPIs, and reporting cadences to track AIO performance and executive-level insights.
- Act as a subject matter expert and internal educator on AI search, supporting enablement, documentation, and external thought leadership.
- 3–5 years of hands-on experience in AI search optimization, GEO/AEO, LLMO, prompt engineering, or AI-driven search strategy.
- Strong understanding of LLM mechanics including RAG, embeddings, hallucinations, grounding, and model behavior.
- Solid technical SEO foundation, including structured data, site architecture, crawlability, indexation, and performance optimization.
- Experience with AI visibility or citation tracking tools (or equivalent custom-built analytics solutions).
- Hands-on experience working with major LLMs (ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity, Copilot) for research and optimization workflows.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in GA4, Search Console, KPI design, and advanced spreadsheet analysis (SQL a plus).
- B2B marketing experience in SaaS, technology, or cybersecurity environments with complex buyer journeys.
- Strong independent thinking, with the ability to define a new discipline and influence cross-functional teams without formal authority.
- Competitive base salary ranging from $125,000 to $209,000 CAD (based on experience and location)
- Bonus eligibility and comprehensive benefits package
- Remote-first work environment with flexibility
- Health, wellness, and employee support programs
- Paid time off, wellbeing days, and global employee engagement initiatives
- Retirement and financial benefits depending on location
- Professional development opportunities and exposure to cutting-edge AI marketing innovation
- Inclusive, diverse, and collaborative global work culture
- Opportunities to shape a new strategic function within a leading cybersecurity organization
