SEO/GEO Marketing Manager

This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a SEO/GEO Marketing Manager in Canada.

This role sits at the forefront of modern search evolution, combining traditional SEO expertise with emerging AI-driven visibility strategies across answer engines and large language models. You will be responsible for shaping how a global technology brand is discovered, referenced, and cited across both search engines and AI platforms such as ChatGPT, Gemini, and other conversational systems. The position blends technical SEO, content strategy, and data-driven experimentation to strengthen organic growth across international markets. You will play a key role in building authority, optimizing entity visibility, and ensuring content is structured for both human search intent and machine interpretation. Working closely with content, product marketing, and engineering teams, you will help define how the brand performs in an AI-first discovery landscape. This is a highly strategic and hands-on role with direct impact on global visibility, demand generation, and digital authority.

Accountabilities:
  • Develop and execute a unified SEO and GEO/AEO strategy to improve visibility across search engines and AI-driven answer platforms.
  • Drive organic growth by optimizing keyword targeting, entity mapping, and search intent alignment across global markets.
  • Lead technical SEO initiatives including structured data, metadata optimization, crawlability improvements, and AI-readiness enhancements.
  • Design and implement content strategies optimized for LLM discoverability, including Q&A formats, schema markup, and authoritative content structuring.
  • Manage authority-building initiatives such as digital PR, backlink acquisition, and unlinked brand mention optimization.
  • Oversee geo-targeted and localization strategies to support regional visibility and multilingual search performance.
  • Monitor, analyze, and report performance using SEO and analytics tools, including organic traffic, rankings, CTR, and AI visibility signals.
  • Conduct ongoing experimentation to evaluate brand presence within AI systems and emerging search environments.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with content, product marketing, and web development teams to align SEO strategy with broader GTM priorities.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in SEO, digital marketing, or organic growth roles within B2B SaaS or technology environments.
  • Strong expertise in technical SEO, including HTML, metadata, structured data, and site architecture.
  • Proven experience improving organic visibility, traffic, and conversions through data-driven SEO strategies.
  • Familiarity with entity-based SEO, semantic search, and Knowledge Graph optimization.
  • Experience working with analytics and SEO tools such as GA4, Google Search Console, SEMrush, or similar platforms.
  • Strong understanding of content optimization for AI/LLM visibility or emerging GEO/AEO strategies is highly desirable.
  • Ability to define KPIs in evolving measurement environments with incomplete attribution.
  • Strong analytical mindset combined with hands-on execution capabilities.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills across technical and marketing teams.
