Manager Pharmacy #8567 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania at St. Clair Hospital

While performing duties related to St. Clair Hospital, this position is responsible for planning, organizing, and supervising the activities of pharmacy personnel engaged in preparing and dispensing medications. Maintains working knowledge of departmental systems and procedures. Develops, implements, and evaluates systems to promote efficient use of resources. Ensures provision of patient-oriented drug therapy in a safe, timely, accurate, and effective manner. Works with Director of Pharmacy to ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and standards of practice.

Minimum Qualifications

1. Graduate of an accredited school of pharmacy.
2. Three years of health system pharmacy or other non-retail pharmacy experience.
3. Pennsylvania licensed pharmacist or eligible for licensure within 60 days of hire.

Preferred Qualifications

1. Completion of an advanced degree in pharmacy or business administration.
2. Three years of management experience in a health system or other non-retail pharmacy practice setting
