This role sits at the intersection of data engineering and business intelligence, enabling data-driven decision-making across a fast-paced, international environment. You will be responsible for transforming large and complex datasets into clear, actionable insights that directly support strategic business initiatives. The position involves designing and maintaining scalable dashboards, building robust ETL/ELT pipelines, and ensuring high standards of data quality and governance. You will collaborate closely with business, product, and leadership teams to define KPIs and translate analytical findings into meaningful business impact. - Collect, process, and analyze large datasets to generate actionable business insights and support decision-making.
- Design, develop, and maintain BI dashboards and reporting solutions using modern visualization tools.
- Build, optimize, and document scalable ETL/ELT pipelines across AWS and/or Google Cloud environments.
- Develop efficient and reusable code using SQL and Python for data analysis and automation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define KPIs and ensure consistency in data interpretation.
- Ensure data integrity, governance, and accessibility across multiple business domains.
- Support strategic initiatives by delivering analyses that drive business performance and optimization.
- Contribute to the evolution of data infrastructure and best practices within the analytics ecosystem.
- 5+ years of experience as a Data Analyst, BI Engineer, or similar data-focused role.
- Strong proficiency in SQL and Python for data manipulation, analysis, and automation.
- Hands-on experience with BI tools such as Looker, Power BI, Tableau, or AWS QuickSight.
- Proven experience building and maintaining ETL/ELT pipelines in AWS and/or Google Cloud environments.
- Knowledge of data modeling, data governance, and analytics best practices.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.
- Ability to communicate complex technical insights clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
- Fluent in Portuguese and Spanish (mandatory, written and spoken).
- Based in Brazil, preferably São Paulo or Rio de Janeiro, with availability for occasional in-person collaboration.
- Experience working in cross-functional, international environments is a strong plus.
