Job Description

Senior Data Analyst

This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Senior Data Analyst in Brazil.

This role sits at the intersection of data, finance, and executive decision-making, transforming complex financial and operational datasets into clear, high-impact visual intelligence for senior leadership. You will work closely with global stakeholders, including VPs and board-level executives, acting as the main bridge between raw data and strategic business decisions. The environment is highly autonomous and requires strong analytical maturity, business acumen, and the ability to proactively identify anomalies and opportunities. Beyond dashboard development, you will shape how financial KPIs are interpreted and consumed across the organization. This is a strategic position within a high-scale, data-intensive payment and financial ecosystem where precision, governance, and performance are critical. You will also contribute to innovation in data visualization, automation, and self-service analytics in a globally distributed team.

Accountabilities:
  • Design, build, and maintain executive, managerial, and operational dashboards in Power BI, ensuring clarity, usability, and performance for senior stakeholders.
  • Translate complex financial KPIs (revenue, margin, risk, delinquency, forecast, budget vs. actual) into actionable visual insights for executive decision-making.
  • Apply UX/UI principles to data visualization, ensuring intuitive dashboards that reduce cognitive load and improve analytical efficiency.
  • Proactively analyze financial and operational data to identify anomalies, deviations, and root causes, recommending corrective actions.
  • Ensure governance, data quality, consistency, and traceability across all dashboards and reporting layers.
  • Optimize queries, models, and dashboards to ensure scalability and high performance in large-scale financial data environments.
  • Develop automation solutions and self-service analytics capabilities to reduce manual reporting efforts and increase business autonomy.
  • Work with Databricks and SQL to access, model, and consume data for visualization purposes, collaborating with data engineering teams for upstream processes.
  • Engage directly with executive and finance stakeholders to gather requirements, present insights, and translate business needs into analytical solutions.
  • Continuously improve dashboard design and analytics approaches, introducing innovative and impactful visualization methods.

Requirements:

  • Strong experience in developing executive dashboards and data visualization using Power BI.
  • Advanced SQL skills and solid experience in data modeling and analytical querying.
  • Hands-on experience using Databricks for data access and consumption in analytical environments.
  • Deep understanding of financial KPIs such as revenue, margin, risk, delinquency, forecast, and budget vs. actual.
  • Proven analytical ability to detect anomalies, deviations, and root causes in complex datasets.
  • Senior-level experience with high autonomy and direct interaction with executive stakeholders.
  • Strong consultative mindset with ability to translate business problems into data-driven solutions.
  • Intermediate to advanced English (B2+) for global communication and executive interactions.
  • Nice to have: experience with Tableau or Looker, report automation, self-service analytics, and large-scale financial transaction datasets.
  • Nice to have: knowledge of data governance, LGPD, compliance, and GenAI applications in analytics.
  • Strong communication, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills with a proactive and ownership-driven attitude.

Benefits:

  • Health and dental insurance.
  • Meal and food allowance.
  • Childcare assistance and extended parental leave.
  • Life insurance coverage.
  • Profit sharing and performance-based bonus (PLR).
  • Wellhub (Gympass) and TotalPass partnerships for health and wellness.
  • Continuous learning platforms and access to CI&T University.
  • Language learning platforms and online education partnerships.
  • Discount clubs and well-being support platforms (physical and mental health).
  • Additional programs supporting inclusion, well-being, and professional development.
