About the role
The Corporate Development & Strategy Analyst will support key corporate initiatives, including capital raising, mergers and acquisitions, and strategic analysis. This role provides hands-on experience in transaction execution, direct exposure to senior leadership, and broad insight into the organization’s business operations.
What you'll do
Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to
Capital Raising and M&A
Support the evaluation and execution of mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, and strategic investments Build and maintain financial models, including DCFs, comparable company analyses, and precedent transaction analyses Assist with financial, operational, and strategic due diligence Prepare investment memoranda and presentation materials for executive leadership and the Board of Directors Coordinate with external advisors, including investment banks, consultants, legal counsel, and accounting firmsStrategy & Business Analysis
Support enterprise strategic initiatives, long range planning, and market assessments Analyze industry trends, competitive dynamics, and growth opportunities Partner with business units to evaluate organic growth initiatives and develop business cases Develop clear, data driven insights to inform executive level decision making Assess potential strategic investments and new business incubationsExecutive & Other Support
Create high quality executive presentations and analyses Support post transaction tracking and integration efforts, as applicable Assist with special projects related to corporate strategy, performance improvement, and transformation initiativesUpon request, reasonable accommodation may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
Qualifications
Experience
Bachelor’s degree in finance, Economics, Accounting, Business, or a related field 1–2 years of investment banking experience or 2–3 years of experience in corporate development, strategic finance, transaction advisory, or related roles Strong financial modeling, valuation, and analytical skills Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to manage multiple workstreams in a fast paced, deadline driven environmentPreferred
Prior exposure to capital raising and M&A transactions Experience preparing materials for senior executives or investment committees Familiarity with market research, competitive analysis, or data visualization tools Experience leveraging AI in roleSkills/Competencies
