Position Summary:

As the Operations Manager at Olly Olly Market, you will support the General Manager and Assistant General Manager in overseeing the day-to-day operations, guest experience, vendor coordination, staffing, facilities, and financial performance of a multi-vendor food hall environment. This role serves as an operational leader on-site, helping ensure seamless service, strong tenant relationships, and a clean, safe, and energetic atmosphere that drives repeat business and revenue growth.

Additional responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Support the General Manager and Assistant General Manager in overseeing day-to-day food hall operations and ensuring smooth execution across service periods
  • Walk the floor consistently to monitor guest experience, vendor performance, and overall flow of service
  • Assist in resolving guest concerns quickly and professionally
  • Support opening, shift change, and closing procedures to ensure operational consistency
  • Support relationships with food hall vendors, partners, and third-party teams by assisting with day-to-day needs, communication, troubleshooting, and service standards, while escalating larger concerns to leadership as needed
  • Assist in enforcing food hall rules, operating standards, and building policies consistently
  • Support hiring, training, scheduling, and development of front-of-house and operational staff by leading shifts, assisting with pre-shift communication, and helping foster a positive, accountable, and hospitality-driven team culture
  • Assist with building and maintaining systems and SOPs that improve efficiency and consistency
  • Assist with labor management, scheduling, payroll review, reporting, and other administrative tasks while helping identify opportunities to improve efficiency and overall business performance
  • Maintain accurate operational logs, incident reports, and maintenance tracking
  • Help maintain cleanliness, safety, ambiance, and overall property standards by conducting regular walkthroughs and coordinating with facilities, maintenance, janitorial, and security teams to address operational needs and safety concerns
  • Support staffing, logistics, and execution for events, activations, private rentals, peak service periods, and other high-volume business needs
  • Help create an energetic, hospitality-forward atmosphere that drives guest engagement and repeat visits
Requirements:

About You:

  • 2+ years of hospitality, restaurant, food hall, or operations experience preferred
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Excellent communication and conflict-resolution abilities
  • Ability to stay organized and adaptable in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience working in high-volume hospitality environments preferred
  • Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and liquor compliance standards
  • Comfortable working with scheduling systems, POS systems, Google Workspace, and operational reporting tools
  • Flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
  • Able to stand and walk for extended periods, lift and carry up to 40 lbs, and work in a fast-paced environment, particularly during peak service and events
