I.T. SYSTEMS & SECURITY ADMINISTRATOR

JOB SUMMARY

Oversee our IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, network systems, and user support. This role combines hands-on technical work with end-user assistance, focusing on system security, server maintenance, and business continuity.

Salary Range: $85K - $90K/annually

This position requires full-time in-office attendance.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Systems & Network Administration

  • Manage user access and permissions via Okta, Active Directory, Azure AD, and Microsoft 365.
  • Administer and maintain internal servers (Windows Server 2012–2016, Hyper-V VMs, limited Linux).
  • Monitor and support hardware/software systems to ensure network performance, availability, and security.
  • Oversee directory services, security groups, and access to network resources.
  • Manage remote monitoring tools and alerts for proactive endpoint and network health management.
  • Provide Tier 2/3 support for desktops, printers, routers, mobile devices, and VoIP (RingCentral).
  • Manage company security awareness training programs.
  • Oversee software licensing and renewals (Adobe, Autodesk, CiraSync).
  • Maintain and order company cell phones (Verizon).
  • Support printer maintenance and supply management (Ricoh, HP).

Security & Compliance

  • Deploy, monitor, and manage cybersecurity tools (SIEM, IDS, antivirus, firewalls, vulnerability scanners).
  • Investigate security incidents and conduct forensic analysis of suspicious activity.
  • Respond to security tickets related to phishing, malware, compromised accounts, and privacy issues.
  • Support disaster recovery planning and manage third-party backup solutions for Microsoft 365, databases, and critical services.
  • Coordinate ADT alarm access in partnership with Facilities and HR.

Administrative & Support Duties

  • Maintain the internal IT knowledge base, including SOPs and technical documentation.
  • Provide end-user training and support for key software tools (e.g., Salesforce, FinancialForce).
  • Support conference room A/V systems, RingCentral configurations, and call routing.
  • Deliver helpdesk and after-hours/on-call support as needed.
  • Serve as backup to the IT Manager and take on additional tasks as assigned.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Required:

  • HS Diploma
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in an IT role

Preferred:

  • Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE) or equivalent
  • Experience with Salesforce and FinancialForce
  • Endpoint management automation experience
  • Administration and incident response with SentinelOne and Rapid7
  • Okta certification and SAML integration experience
  • Technical writing skills
