Job Summary

Responsible for all aspects of project management from concept to commissioning; multiple intermediate-to-large natural gas midstream capital projects encompassing multiple operating units. Manages multiple projects within the constraints of scope, quality, time, and cost to deliver project outcomes in accordance with specified requirements. Interfaces with and provides support to commercial, management, engineering, procurement, and construction. Incumbents in this job may be based outside the Company’s headquarters state.

Key Accountabilities

  • Manages multiple intermediate-to-large ($5-plus million) capital projects and/or multiple small projects.
  • Monitors and reports on the progress of a construction project from the scoping phase through the design, construction and closeout phases. This is inclusive of project scope, schedule and cost estimate development; engineering and construction; through the completion of installation, testing, and commissioning into service and project closeout. Manages cost and schedule forecasting and scope, budget, quality, and schedule change control.
  • Interfaces with commercial team on project schedules and execution; leads all aspects of scheduling and cost control.
  • Provides reporting and accountability to Finance team.
  • Manages project expenditures and facilitates the procurement of equipment and materials.
  • Coordinates with Supply Chain Management in conducting bid meetings and reviews, supplier selections and evaluations.
  • Manages project scope, schedule & cost changes ensuring that all project requirements and/or objectives and the execution of changes are properly documented, justified, approved by management, and vigorously pursued via regular reporting, forecasting final targets, reviews and audits; implements approved changes in a timely manner.
  • Manages communications, risk management, scope verification, and information distribution during project development & implementation.
  • Interfaces with the project stakeholders. Provides administrative support to the Manger of Project Management.
Minimum Education & Experience Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Project Management, Construction Management, or related field
  • 6 years’ relevant experience, with a minimum of 2 years of project controls or project management experience.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Communicates effectively with individuals at all levels, inside and outside the Corporation.

  • Ability to develop/coordinate cross-functional work groups and projects, yielding optimal outcomes.

  • Knowledge of PC & computer-based scheduling and financial tools (e.g. Excel, Word, PowerPoint, MS Project, NetSuite, & Smartsheet).
