Job Description
Summary: The Inventory Control Supervisor is responsible for updating, maintaining, and adjusting inventory through receiving, releasing and cycle count functions. This position will be responsible for the planning, execution and reconciliation of inventory at the end of the fiscal year at the Los Angeles facility, 3PL and CMOs. In addition, this position will lead all duties and supervise a team of two (2) employees in the Inventory Control department.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
? Manage all vendors (CMOs, 3PL partners and consignment customers) inventory and reconciliations.
? Generate schedules for all vendors to perform monthly/quarterly/biannual reconciliations.
? Identifies, troubleshoots, and resolves any MDR discrepancies to post adjustments in the inventory system.
? Leads the IC team in P.O.’s, streamlining the transition to accounting and expediting the receiving process.
? Processes Hyland’s & DTC purchase orders by receiving merchandise and supplies into the inventory system, generating quarantine labels for raw materials and components as needed.
? Expedites and forwards all receiving documentation to Accounts Payable after receiving P.O.
? Coordinates post-count inventory reconciliation with the IC team and oversees finished goods adjustments required for shipping releases for order fulfillment.
? Responsible for manual adjustments of finished goods inventory, for the release of shipments for order fulfillment.
? Supervises warehouse staffing and workload distribution while actively participating in inventory cycle counts.
? Review and file weekly cycle count reports.
? Post cycle counts data to freeze files and reconcile anomalies.
? Output FGs work orders for materials produced internally and at the CMOs.
? Review Bill of Materials (BOM) and routers according to work centers and submit updates and changes as required.
? Manages the transfers of FGs between companies (Hyland’s and DTC).
? Leads fiscal year-end inventory verifications and acts as the point of contact for external auditors.
? Coordinates in-house and work-in-process (WIP) quarantine transfers to uphold compliance standards for Manufacturing and Quality Assurance.
? Performs transfers, reconciliations and tracks all inventory on consignment and 3PL.
? Trained and qualified to initiate eDCRs.
? Responsible for executing internal investigations and drafting the technical reports required for formal IR and CAPA’s.
? Responsible for updating and creating departmental SOPs and leading 'Train-the-Trainer' initiatives to ensure site-wide inventory compliance.
? May be required to perform other duties as assigned or as needed.
Supervisory Responsibilities: Directly supervises IC full-time employees. Carries out responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Education and/or Experience
? High school diploma or GED and minimum 5-7 years of experience in the field or related area; or equivalent combination of experience, training and/or education.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
? Good communication skills. Must have the ability to communicate with a variety of audiences and have good problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
? Compliance with current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) including proper completion of Production Work Orders and other documents.
? Working knowledge of metric system, scale procedures and liquid measure procedures.
? Good attention to detail and basic math skills.
? Ability to assist in training Inventory Control personnel.
? Ability to manage time efficiently and effectively.
? Good interpersonal skills for interacting with and coordinating work within the departments of the organization.
? Solve practical problems and ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
? Keyboard & Computer knowledge in MS Word & Excel.
? Very detail oriented and demonstrates both abilities to work independently and within teams in a high pressured and deadline-oriented environment. Self–motivated with “quality first” and “whatever it takes” attitude.
