Complete Legal is a strategic, enterprise-capable litigation support and eDiscovery partner serving law firms and legal teams nationwide. Since 2014, clients have trusted us with some of their most complex, high-volume legal matters, making quality, accountability, and collaboration central to everything we do.

Our teams support clients across the discovery lifecycle through information governance, eDiscovery consulting, forensic collections and investigations, hosting services, managed review, and paper services. By combining advanced technology with experienced judgment, disciplined execution, and accountable delivery, we help clients reduce risk, control costs, and confidently navigate complex legal matters.

We’ve been recognized as one of America’s fastest-growing private companies on multiple prestigious growth lists, including the most recent Inc. 5000 list of America’s fastest-growing private companies, as well as the Kansas City Business Journal and Ingram’s rankings of the fastest-growing companies headquartered in the Kansas City region.

Just as important as the work is the team behind it. At Complete Legal, we hire great people, invest in their growth, and treat them well. We are committed to our core values - Trust, Growth, Execution, Teamwork, and Fulfillment - and they guide how we work every day.

We believe doing excellent work and enjoying the journey should go hand in hand. We celebrate our successes, support one another, and create an environment where people can make an impact while growing in a career they love.

Position Overview & Description

As a Senior Project Manager, you will lead and develop a team of Project Managers and Project Coordinators while overseeing complex litigation support and eDiscovery matters from project initiation through final production. This role is as much about people leadership as it is about project execution — you will set the standard for how the team operates, mentor less experienced PMs, and serve as a trusted advisor to both your team and our clients.

This is a client-facing leadership role for someone who thrives on developing others, driving team performance, and managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. You will guide junior Project Managers and Project Coordinators through complex matters, elevate the team's skills through hands-on coaching and knowledge sharing, and help build a culture of accountability and excellence. No two days are the same, and you'll have the opportunity to shape how the team grows while working on sophisticated litigation matters and building long-term client relationships.

At Complete Legal, we believe project management goes beyond tracking deadlines. It means becoming an extension of our clients' legal teams, and building the next generation of leaders who can do the same. There are endless opportunities for professional growth, increased responsibility, and career advancement for the right leader.

Requirements:

Job Responsibilities

· Be prepared to lead, mentor, and develop a team of Project Managers, providing hands-on guidance on complex matters and career development support.

· Serve as a hands-on coach and escalation point for the team, helping less experienced PMs work through challenging client situations, technical issues, and competing priorities.

· Drive process improvements and operational best practices across the team, raising the bar for how projects are run.

· Manage multiple eDiscovery and litigation support projects simultaneously while maintaining exceptional attention to detail, organization, and follow-through.

· Serve as the primary point of contact for attorneys and corporate legal teams throughout the lifecycle of each matter.

· Develop project workflows, timelines, task plans, and strategic recommendations based on client objectives, risks, matter needs, and deadlines.

· Coordinate data intake, processing, document review, productions, quality control, and final deliverables.

· Maintain strong client communication through timely updates, clear next steps, and proactive follow-up, ensuring clients know what is happening, what is needed, and what to expect next.

· Build lasting client relationships through responsiveness, accountability, transparency, and exceptional service.

· Collaborate with forensic consultants, account representatives, review teams, and operations staff to ensure seamless project execution.

· Identify project and team risks early, proactively developing solutions to keep matters on schedule and the team performing at a high level.

· Maintain regular communication with clients through phone calls, email, virtual meetings, and in-person meetings when appropriate.

· Maintain a thorough understanding of Complete Legal's services and technologies to provide strategic guidance and recommend solutions.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

· Strong Leadership – leads by example, builds trust with the team, and fosters a collaborative, high-performing culture.

· Proven People Manager – experience mentoring, coaching, and developing junior team members into stronger project managers.

· Strategic Thinker – anticipates challenges, identifies solutions, and keeps both projects and the team moving forward.

· Exceptional Communicator – clearly communicates technical concepts, project updates, and recommendations to clients, teams, and internal stakeholders.

· Client-Centric Mindset – builds trust through responsiveness, professionalism, and exceptional service.

· Highly Organized – manages multiple complex projects and competing team priorities with accuracy and efficiency.

· Problem Solver – approaches challenges with confidence, creativity, and a solutions-oriented mindset.

· Collaborative – works seamlessly with clients, consultants, review teams, and internal stakeholders to achieve shared goals.

· Continuous Learner – stays current on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices, and passes that knowledge on to the team.

· Strong working knowledge of Relativity and RelativityOne; baseline knowledge in other leading eDiscovery platforms is a plus.

Required Qualifications

· 5+ years of experience in litigation support, eDiscovery, or legal/technical project management, including prior experience mentoring or leading other project managers or coordinators.

· Demonstrated track record of developing team members and improving team performance.

· Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience preferred.
