Job Description

Inked Brands is seeking a detail-oriented Consumer Stationary Product Development Assistant to support the development and execution of product collections across our portfolio of brands. This role assists with product launches, project coordination, product data management, replenishment planning, and product research to help ensure successful product development from concept to completion.

The Product Development Assistant will work closely with Product Development, Design, Purchasing, Marketing, and Operations teams to keep projects moving forward, maintain accurate product information, and support revenue growth through effective product management. The ideal candidate is highly organized, analytical, proactive, and thrives in a fast-paced environment with multiple competing priorities.

WHAT YOU’LL DOProduct Lifecycle Support

· Assist with the development and execution of product collections from concept through launch.

· Coordinate with Design, Purchasing, Marketing, and Operations teams to ensure projects remain on schedule.

· Support collection planning, product launches, and collection review meetings.

· Maintain accurate product information and statuses throughout the product development process.

· Assist with collection decks, line plans, and other product documentation.

Project Coordination

· Manage assigned tasks and deadlines within project management systems.

· Monitor project progress and proactively communicate delays, risks, or roadblocks.

· Update product statuses, purchase order information, and project milestones.

· Assist in coordinating product approvals, photography requests, sample reviews, and product launches.

· Work quickly and accurately within project management systems to ensure deadlines are met.

Product Information & Administration

· Maintain product specifications, pricing, and product data across company systems.

· Assist with product setup, barcode creation, item maintenance, and product documentation.

· Serve as a resource for product information and assist with answering product-related questions from internal teams.

· Organize and maintain product files, imagery, and supporting documentation.

Sales Analysis & Replenishment

· Analyze sales data to identify trends and support product assortment decisions.

· Assist with inventory monitoring and replenishment planning for evergreen and best-selling products.

· Support replenishment requests and inventory-related projects to maximize revenue opportunities.

· Track product performance and assist in identifying opportunities for growth.

Product Research & Sourcing

· Research market trends, customer preferences, and competitive products.

· Assist in identifying new product opportunities and category expansion ideas.

· Provide recommendations that align with brand positioning and product strategies.

Team Support

· Assist with maintaining Product Tracker, Sales Analysis, collection decks, line plans, and other product management documents.

· Support monthly subscription programs and special product initiatives.

· Contribute to and support a positive, creative, and collaborative culture.

· Continuously improve efficiency, communication, and work product.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO THE TABLE

· Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Merchandising, Product Development, Marketing, or a related field preferred.

· 1–3 years of experience in product development, merchandising, project coordination, purchasing, or a related field preferred.

· Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

· Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.

· Comfortable working with spreadsheets, product data, and reporting.

· Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret sales and inventory information.

· Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.

· Experience with project management, ERP, or product management systems preferred.

· Communication– Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Works effectively across multiple departments.

· Project Management– Demonstrates the ability to prioritize tasks, manage deadlines, and maintain organization in a fast-paced environment.

· Detail Orientation– Exhibits a high level of accuracy and thoroughness.
