| Physical Requirements | Sitting for extended periods of time, viewing computer screen for extended periods, traveling to presentations. |
| Shift | Monday – Friday, 8 am – 5 pm, 40 hours per week |
| Job Summary | Provide individual, couples/relationship, and group therapy; conduct clinical intakes; provide drop-in/emergency coverage/clinical consultation; produce timely documentation of clinical work; engage in regular clinical preparation. Welcome, include, and treat others with dignity and respect while valuing individual differences. Present preventative and educational programs to organizations on and off campus. Consult with faculty, staff, parents and administrators regarding students of concern. Supervise trainees. Attend weekly staff meetings, case consultation and in-service training, continue professional learning, and maintain licensure. Other duties as assigned by the director, such as committee assignments, assisting the Center area coordinators, project development in collaboration with other departments or the larger community. Receive weekly supervision and complete licensure process as a psychologist. Student Success will, from the time of early college outreach to graduation and beyond, support students in living a life of meaning and purpose. From a student-centered framework, our practice will be grounded in peer-reviewed literature, national best practices, and data-informed decision-making. Collaborating with the campus and community, Student Success will work through a holistic lens to support a community of learners in achieving success. |
| Skills / Knowledge / Abilities | Our Counseling Center seeks individuals who are collaborative in nature, have strong communication skills, practice good self-care, maintain healthy boundaries, and possess the ability to manage a challenging workload while promoting a positive atmosphere and healthy relationships. |
