The Role
We are currently recruiting for a Journeyman Pipefitter to support our Midstream client in Conklin, AB.
Shift: 10 and 4, 10 hours per day
Start Date: May 28, 2026
This project is estimated to be 6 weeks in duration.
Compensation/Benefits
• Wages range based on experience
• Overtime at 1.5 x after 8 hours per day
• 10% vacation and stat pay on all regular hours worked
• Benefits 50/50 split after 90 days with the company
Job Duties/Responsibilities
- Perform bolting, torquing, and flange management as part of valve change-out and installation
- Join and secure pipe sections according to specifications.
- Use test equipment to verify system integrity and check for leaks.
- Ensure tasks are completed in full compliance with OCL’s and the client’s safety, quality, and procedural standards.
- Work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment while maintaining a strong safety culture.
Experience/Qualifications
- Journeyperson Pipefitter Certification
- Previous rigging experience working in an industrial setting is an asset
- Must have valid safety tickets: H2S Alive and CSTS-2020 or WHMIS 2015.
- Ensure a safe team environment
- Adhere to all company and worksite safety and quality processes and procedures
- Strong communication skills
- Desire to work in a team environment
- Comfortable working outside in various weather conditional conditions
- Must be eligible to work in Canada
- Must have transportation to get to/from site
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol test
