CNC Steel Processing Operator in Cocoa, Florida at Qualdoc, LLC

Location: Cocoa Beach, FL
Starting Pay: Up to $27.00/hour + $3.00/hour night differential
Shifts: 1st and 2nd Shift Available
Job Type: Contract-to-Hire

Seeking an experienced CNC/steel processing operator to run fabrication equipment and prepare materials according to production specifications. Experience with one or more of the following is required:

• Kinetic Plasma Table
• Peddinghaus Saw/Drill Line
• Peddinghaus Angle Master
• Ficep Beamline

Experience operating overhead cranes, performing detailed part marking, and regularly lifting up to 50 lbs. is also required.

• Set machine controls and parameters for production
• Verify material type, dimensions, and stock requirements
• Measure materials against design specifications
• Apply required part numbers, markings, and production data
• Track daily production and material usage
• Perform routine machine maintenance and assist with troubleshooting
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area

• CNC plasma, sawing, drilling, or cutting experience required
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, symbols, and notes preferred
• Ability to read a tape measure accurately to 1/16"
• Basic math skills
• Safe operation of overhead cranes and material transfer/convey systems
• Ability to stand for extended periods
• Comfortable working in both hot and cold environments
• Ability to regularly lift up to 50 lbs.
• Tekla PowerFab experience preferred
