As a Senior B2B Credit Policy Specialist, you will play a key role in developing and enhancing credit strategies, using data and automation to support business growth while maintaining portfolio quality. Your responsibilities will include:
- Designing, implementing, and continuously improving B2B credit policies for granting, maintaining, and expanding credit limits.
- Monitoring portfolio performance through key risk indicators such as overdue rates, bad debt levels, and payment behavior.
- Developing risk-based pricing strategies by analyzing customer profiles and calibrating commercial conditions to balance competitiveness and profitability.
- Partnering with data teams to create, improve, and validate credit scoring and behavior scoring models.
- Supporting automation initiatives and decision-making processes through data-driven solutions and advanced analytics.
- Acting as a strategic advisor to Sales and Customer Success teams, helping align portfolio growth with financial sustainability.
- Translating complex analyses into clear recommendations for stakeholders and contributing to continuous improvement of credit processes.
The ideal candidate combines strong credit risk expertise with analytical capabilities and a strategic mindset. You should have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Economics, Statistics, Business Administration, Finance, or a related quantitative field.
- Proven experience in B2B credit risk, including credit policy development, credit limit management, and risk-based pricing strategies.
- Advanced SQL skills and experience using data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker.
- Knowledge of Python is considered a plus.
- Experience working with automated decision engines and credit scoring models, including application and behavioral scoring.
- Strong understanding of corporate financial analysis, including P&L statements and cash flow analysis, particularly within the SME segment.
- Familiarity with Brazilian credit bureaus and the local financial regulatory environment.
- Experience with recurring revenue or SaaS business models is a plus.
- Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving abilities, and the capacity to communicate insights effectively with senior stakeholders.
- A hands-on, adaptable approach with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced and evolving environment.
- Advanced English proficiency is a plus.
