This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Sr. Business Intelligence Analyst, Corporate Strategy & Analytics based in the United States.
This role will help shape executive-level reporting and analytics that enable leaders to make faster, more informed business decisions. You will translate complex data into clear insights, scalable dashboards, and actionable intelligence for stakeholders across the organization. Working closely with Finance, Sales, Manufacturing, Operations, IT, Human Resources, Legal, and executive teams, you will influence decisions across multiple business functions. The position combines hands-on data analysis with business partnership, data governance, and reporting automation. You will have significant exposure to senior leadership and the opportunity to directly influence strategic priorities. This is a highly collaborative role for an analytical professional who enjoys uncovering the story behind the data and turning it into measurable business impact.
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable, automated, and user-friendly analytics solutions, dashboards, and reports that support executive decision-making.
- Partner with functional leaders to define, standardize, and continuously improve key business metrics and KPIs across the organization.
- Build cross-functional reporting and data visualizations using dashboards and self-service analytics tools to accelerate data-driven decisions.
- Respond to ad hoc reporting and analytical requests while identifying opportunities to improve automation, scalability, and self-service capabilities within Power BI.
- Develop and optimize Power BI semantic data models, including DAX measures, calculated columns, hierarchies, and relationships, to deliver accurate and reliable reporting.
- Research, acquire, and integrate external data sources to expand analytical capabilities and provide additional business context.
- Connect data from ERP and CRM systems, manufacturing platforms, SQL databases, spreadsheets, cloud applications, and third-party sources through reliable and automated data pipelines.
- Establish and maintain enterprise-wide data definitions, KPI calculations, business rules, and master data standards to ensure consistency across reporting platforms and business systems.
- Monitor and improve data quality through governance processes, validation rules, exception reporting, and root-cause analysis.
- Support master data management initiatives covering critical domains such as customers, products, suppliers, materials, chart of accounts, and other enterprise data.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Data Science, Statistics, Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline.
- 5+ years of experience in Business Intelligence, including developing executive-level dashboards and reporting solutions.
- 5+ years of hands-on data analysis experience using Microsoft Excel and a broad range of functions and analytical techniques.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Power BI and Excel.
- Strong understanding of data visualization, business metrics, KPI development, and executive reporting.
- Experience building Power BI semantic models and working with DAX, calculated columns, relationships, and data hierarchies.
- Ability to integrate and analyze data from multiple business systems and sources, including ERP, CRM, SQL databases, manufacturing systems, and cloud applications.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify trends, uncover the story behind data, and translate findings into actionable recommendations.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across Finance, Sales, Manufacturing, Operations, IT, HR, Legal, and executive teams.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple priorities and responding to both recurring and ad hoc analytical needs.
- A proactive, collaborative mindset with a strong interest in improving data quality, automation, governance, and self-service analytics.
