Job Description
The Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) treater will administer in-office therapeutic treatments using a breakthrough medical device for the treatment of depression under the supervision of a treating physician. This role involves interacting regularly with patients to ensure comfort and safety, managing clinical services, and supporting office operations through administrative tasks as needed.
Hours:
● Monday-Thursday: 3pm-6pm
Responsibilities:
● Administer NeuroStar therapeutic treatments according to established protocols and physician direction.
● Educate patients on the treatment process and address their questions or concerns.
● Monitor patients during treatment and respond effectively to any medical symptoms or emergencies.
● Maintain accurate documentation, including treatment records and referral reporting.
● Adhere to established clinical and office procedures to ensure a high standard of care.
● Promote a positive and welcoming work environment for both patients and colleagues.
● Uphold patient confidentiality and handle sensitive information with integrity.
● Perform additional office administrative tasks as required.
● Other duties as assigned
Qualifications & Skills
● Minimum two years in a patient-facing or customer service role.
● Proficient in Microsoft Office and basic data management software.
● Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to make patients feel comfortable and safe.
● Ability to follow detailed treatment protocols and manage a daily checklist.
● Physically capable of walking, standing, stooping, and bending.
● Visual and auditory dexterity to operate medical/mechanical devices.
● Experience in a health care or clinical professional role preferred but not required.
