Manager, Digital Marketing

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Manager, Digital Marketing based in United States.

The Manager, Digital Marketing will lead the integrated digital marketing and demand generation engine, turning organizational priorities into measurable digital outcomes.
This role serves as the central hub for digital campaign execution, optimization, and performance improvement across key channels.
You will design and manage campaigns spanning email, marketing automation, search, websites, and, when needed, paid media.
The position combines hands-on execution with strategic planning, audience targeting, experimentation, and conversion optimization.
You will build repeatable campaign processes that improve lead generation, engagement, and audience experiences over time.
Working cross-functionally, you will translate complex initiatives into clear digital journeys and actionable insights.
Success in this role requires a data-driven, collaborative approach and the ability to move quickly in a purpose-driven, innovative environment.

Accountabilities:
  • Translate organizational priorities and marketing campaigns into integrated digital channel plans with defined goals, audiences, messaging, channel mix, timelines, and measurement frameworks.
  • Own the end-to-end digital journey from initial audience exposure through conversion and follow-up, ensuring each stage is connected and optimized.
  • Build and manage email campaigns in Salesforce Marketing Cloud and related marketing automation environments.
  • Regularly edit existing WordPress pages and create new website pages to support campaigns and conversion objectives.
  • Develop repeatable approaches for lead generation and thought leadership initiatives, including webinars, downloadable resources, and events.
  • Use audience behavior, campaign data, and performance insights to continuously improve digital strategies and execution.
  • Collaborate with external agencies on paid media strategy and execution across platforms such as LinkedIn, Meta, and Google.
  • Support paid media targeting, budgeting, pacing, performance monitoring, and iterative optimization as required.
  • Establish structured testing programs covering audiences, creative, landing pages, channel mix, and other campaign variables.
  • Document test results, lessons learned, and recommended next steps to create a continuous improvement process.
  • Optimize digital experiences so audiences receive relevant information and clear calls to action throughout the marketing funnel.
  • Recommend budget allocations and reallocate spend based on campaign performance and organizational priorities.
  • Define campaign success metrics before launch and maintain consistent reporting practices.
  • Deliver monthly performance reporting covering email, website, and paid media activity.
  • Partner with operations and database stakeholders to support accurate lead capture, follow-up readiness, data quality, and reporting integrity.
  • Coordinate cross-functional projects by creating clarity around priorities, timelines, responsibilities, and deliverables.
  • Communicate campaign results and recommendations in clear, accessible language to support informed decision-making.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, digital technologies, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
  • 4–6 years of relevant experience in digital marketing or a related discipline.
  • Strong understanding of digital customer journeys and the technology used to support customer experiences.
  • Demonstrated performance and optimization mindset, with the ability to make decisions using data, testing, and iteration.
  • Experience translating complex initiatives into clear messaging and effective digital journeys.
  • Hands-on experience with email marketing and marketing automation platforms, including Salesforce.
  • Experience managing or editing websites using WordPress.
  • Understanding of search marketing and digital acquisition channels.
  • Experience working with paid media platforms such as LinkedIn, Meta, and Google is valuable.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to establish meaningful campaign KPIs and interpret performance results.
  • Strong project management and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Ability to keep multiple digital initiatives moving through clear communication, alignment, and prioritization.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to brief stakeholders and explain performance insights in plain language.
  • Ability to turn data and campaign results into practical recommendations and next steps.
  • Comfortable working with internal teams and external partners or agencies.
  • Adaptable and solution-oriented, with the ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated commitment to creating a welcoming and respectful work environment for people from diverse backgrounds.
  • Ability to work effectively in a remote-first environment, with availability aligned to Eastern or Central U.S. time zones.
Benefits:
  • Annual salary of $55,000–$60,000.
  • Remote-first work environment for candidates located anywhere in the U.S. within the Eastern or Central time zones and in a market with a major airport.
  • Washington, DC is the preferred location.
  • 18 days of paid time off, increasing to 20 days after three years of service.
