Director of Sales Operations

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Director of Sales Operations based in the United States.

This leadership role is responsible for building a repeatable, predictable, and scalable operating engine that supports sustainable revenue growth. You’ll lead a team of sales operators while partnering closely with senior Sales Leadership to improve forecasting, pipeline health, productivity, and operational efficiency. The role combines strategic planning with hands-on execution across processes, systems, analytics, and go-to-market operations. You’ll establish the operating rhythms and performance insights that help sales teams stay accountable and make better decisions. As a key member of the Revenue Operations leadership team, you’ll identify high-impact opportunities, prioritize initiatives, and drive meaningful improvements across the sales organization. This is an ideal opportunity for an experienced SaaS sales operations leader who thrives in a fast-paced, data-driven environment and enjoys turning complex challenges into scalable solutions.

Accountabilities:
  • Lead and develop a team of sales operations professionals, using rigorous analysis to identify opportunities, develop recommendations, and execute solutions to the sales organization’s most critical challenges.
  • Partner with VP-level and senior Sales Leadership to define strategic priorities, improve operational excellence, and support sustainable revenue growth.
  • Own key sales operating rhythms, including forecast calls, pipeline reviews, quarterly business reviews, and monthly business reviews.
  • Develop and refine KPI dashboards that provide clear visibility into sales performance, trends, risks, and opportunities.
  • Deliver actionable, data-backed insights and translate findings into concrete plans to improve growth, efficiency, and sales execution.
  • Partner with Sales Leadership to align revenue targets, forecast accuracy, pipeline health, and annual sales operations priorities.
  • Develop the annual Sales Operations roadmap, including territory design, quota setting, go-to-market planning milestones, and other strategic initiatives.
  • Serve as a bridge between Sales Leadership and technical teams such as Data and GTM Engineering, translating business requirements into clear technical specifications, success criteria, and timelines.
  • Maintain strong working knowledge of the sales technology ecosystem and own Tier 1 Salesforce configurations and single-system workflows.
  • Partner with GTM Systems teams on multi-system integrations, technology evaluations, implementation, and change management.
  • Drive adoption and measurable business impact from sales technologies and operational improvements.
  • Identify and execute process improvements that increase efficiency, deal velocity, and revenue predictability.
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Product, Finance, Customer Success, and other cross-functional teams to improve lead flow, conversion, and overall go-to-market alignment.
  • Proactively identify opportunities to use AI tools and automation to improve efficiency, accuracy, and scalability across sales operations workflows.
  • Continuously assess business processes and systems to uncover opportunities for optimization, innovation, and growth.

Requirements:

  • 7+ years of relevant experience in high-velocity SaaS environments, including experience partnering with VP-level or senior Sales leaders.
  • Deep expertise in Sales Operations, including sales planning, forecasting, pipeline management, process optimization, performance management, and KPI development.
  • Proven ability to combine strategic vision with hands-on execution and deliver immediate operational improvements while building long-term scalable capabilities.
  • Strong analytical and business judgment skills, with the ability to identify high-leverage opportunities and prioritize initiatives based on business impact.
  • Demonstrated experience building, coaching, and motivating high-performing teams with clear accountability and a growth-oriented culture.
  • Excellent influencing, stakeholder management, and communication skills, with the ability to build consensus across complex and diverse stakeholder groups.
  • Ability to simplify complex concepts and communicate clearly through both written and verbal formats.
  • Comfortable operating in ambiguous, fast-changing environments while maintaining resilience, adaptability, and focus.
  • Highly accountable, proactive, and solutions-oriented, with a strong sense of ownership for outcomes.
  • Advanced proficiency with Salesforce, sales engagement platforms such as Outreach, Salesloft, or Gong, and Excel or Google Sheets.
  • Strong experience with data analysis and reporting tools.
  • SQL experience is preferred.
  • Experience with Tableau, Looker, or similar BI platforms is preferred.
  • Familiarity with AI/ML tools and frameworks is preferred.

Benefits:

  • Annual on-target earnings of up to $255,000.
  • Honest and open culture with a strong emphasis on feedback.
  • Opportunities for professional and personal development.
  • Global, distributed team environment.
  • Six self-care days per year.
  • Monthly opportunities to participate in sales contests and SPIF programs.
  • Strong opportunities for career advancement and internal promotion.
  • Collaborative virtual team environment with a focus on work-life balance.
  • Opportunity to contribute to a scalable SaaS revenue organization and work across Sales, Marketing, Product, Finance, Customer Success, Data, and GTM Engineering.
  • Remote work environment within the United States.
  • Application deadline: November 30, 2026.
