Job Summary:

The Corrugated Manufacturing Estimator is responsible for analyzing customer specifications, developing accurate cost estimates, and preparing competitive pricing for corrugated packaging products. This role requires a strong understanding of raw materials, production processes, labor costs, and industry standards to ensure profitability and efficiency in quoting jobs. The ideal candidate will work closely with sales and production teams to optimize pricing strategies and support business growth while ensuring a quick response time for customer inquiries and pricing requests.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review customer requirements and specifications to develop detailed cost estimates for corrugated packaging products.
• Analyze material usage, labor, machine time, and overhead costs to determine accurate pricing.
• Collaborate with sales and production teams to ensure estimates align with manufacturing capabilities.
• Maintain and update cost databases, pricing structures, and material costs to reflect market trends.
• Assist in identifying cost-saving opportunities and process improvements.
• Ensure estimates comply with company pricing policies and customer expectations.
• Respond to sales inquiries with a quick turnaround time, providing timely and competitive pricing solutions.
• Track and analyze past estimates to refine accuracy and improve future quoting processes.

Qualifications:

• Experience in estimating, costing, or a similar role in manufacturing.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing materials, processes, and industry standards.
• Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Excellent analytical and mathematical skills with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and job requirements.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with internal teams and customers.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure and provide fast, accurate estimates.
• Corrugated experience is a plus.
