Custodian (Night Crew)

Overview

The Custodian under supervision will perform quality custodial services.

Responsibilities

1. 1. Clean restrooms, sweep, and wet mop all tile floors
2. Clean entrance ways windows (interior and exterior) and building windows, clean office glass as needed.
3. Empty trash and replace liner in all trash cans.
4. Perform high dusting monthly to include all window blinds, dust all areas as needed.
5. Replace all paper and soap products in restrooms, replace deodorizers and batteries as needed.
6. Vacuum all carpet areas.
7. All other cleaning duties as assigned.
8. Notify Facility Maintenance of any maintenance or repair problem.
9. Assist public when necessary.

ADDITIONAL DUTIES. Other job-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Education. High School or GED and willingness to learn tasks necessary for building custodial. Ability One Program requirement preferred.

Experience. Custodial and Janitorial experience preferred.

Education/Experience substitution. In accordance with Tresco policy.

Licenses/Certifications. Valid driver’s license.

Other (e.g., post-offer drug screen, background check, driver’s license record, etc.). Employee’s must undergo a driver’s license record check; employees must pass a background check. Note: For Federal position list NCICS Clearance

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED BY THE POSITION:

1. Bilingual skills are not required but are beneficial.
2. Maintain confidentiality of all information regarding clients and employees of Tresco.
3. Ability to work under stressful situations.
4. Ability to work independently and in a team setting
5. Ability to secure and maintain an NACI clearance.

Rate of Pay: $17.75/hour

Hours: Mon-Fri 6:30pm-3:00am
